Students & Young Working Professionals

The gaming industry is massive but still, jobs are competitive and we are going through layoffs every few years. To get into the industry, you often need to show an extensive portfolio.

We have found that during studies, many game design students develop fantastic games that just need a few more touches to become fully-fledged games. If you have this game already, why don’t you want to publish it and gather some experience from the whole process? Maybe you can even pay off your student loans with it?

We believe in students and want to give as many of you the chance to release your game. Our services come with a price but we want to offer you a risk-free way that can get your game out to the stores without you paying a cent for it.

Recoup model

Instead of charging you upfront, we will recoup our investment (work and publishing fees) from the sales of the game once released. For you, this means you won’t have to pay us upfront and when your game releases, you will get paid a little later. We can explain how exactly this works and what the terms are during a meeting.

Eligibility

We aim to offer this model to as many people as possible but we have to ensure that taking this risk is not without any security hence why we are limiting this model to a specific group of people:

  • You are a university or college student in game-design-related major or graduated within the last 2 years
  • You have a pitch that you can present
  • You are able to commit a stable amount of hours per week to your game
  • You have a playable prototype
  • You have a game design doc or a planning tool in which you can roughly outline the goals and vision for your game

During a meeting, we will discuss all this and check with you what is possible.
